Needing to refresh and update the visitor experience at their headquarters office, Kobre & Kim engaged Huntsman to update their reception space and conference center to create more welcoming and modern space for company events, meetings, and presentations. With an aggressive timeline, the design solution required straightforward, contemporary design concepts that could be rapidly implemented.

The transformation begins at the elevator lobby where grey lacquered panels with stainless steel bases brighten the space while complementing the existing marble floor. Visitors are directed to the light-filled reception area where a branded translucent glass wall glows behind a sleek custom-designed marble and walnut reception desk. The conference center is designed with a large boardroom with sliding glass doors and a guest lounge with comfortable seating and a digital screen that displays welcome messages and office news. The conference center space is further activated with an open client café. The café's design details - a textured wood wall panel, Edison pendant lights, and walnut wood elements - warm the space and complement the charcoal floor and crisp, modern counters and furniture. The new conference center is a modern and bright addition and is a bustling hub for guests and employees to enjoy.
